The Board of Directors does not receive payment for their work. This is strictly an all volunteer organization as can be seen in our Bylaws.
There are no paid employees in this all volunteer organization.

Yes, we do accept earmarked funds, however, the Board of Directors reserves the right to reapply any donation to other needs as deemed necessary. We will certainly try to fulfill the wishes of our donors; however, special circumstances may arise that cause the earmarked money to be used for other needs. We will always do our best to communicate changes.
The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Foundation is a Texas Corporation that is not operated by either Kendall County or the Sheriff’s Office. Though we work very closely with the Sheriff’s Office, the Foundation is separate. As the Sheriff will tell you himself, he and his entire organization are grateful for the support the Foundation provides, through your generous donations, to his team
The Foundation believes it is in the best interest of the Sheriff’s Office that we keep our overhead costs to a minimum; therefore, we do not have an office but rather just a mailing address. It would be too costly to lease office space and storage of Blue Santa items; however, if there are any generous donors who want to donate space for our operations, we would love to talk more about the opportunity. We are focused on maximizing the percentage of donated monies back towards the Sheriff’s Office and their staff and minimizing administrative fees.

Article VII of our Bylaws establishes our Donation Policy. It is the Foundation’s intent that donations are applied to either a specific item or purpose as requested by donor, or, when not practical, to whatever immediate need the Foundation may deem most appropriate.
