Blue Santa
Blue Santa
The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Blue Santa Program has served families in need for more than two decades. Initially, the program was called the Brown Santa Program. Today, the program consists of the Sheriff’s Office, Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Foundation, Boerne ISD, Boerne Community Coalition, American Legion Post 313, and Hill Country Family Services.
Approximately 20 Sheriff’s Office volunteers work on various aspects of the program and contribute over 200 man hours in preparation for this event. Activities include administrative duties, picking up toys, sorting toys, and bagging up individual family requests.
This amazing program continues to grow annually through the generous support of Kendall County residents and businesses, reaching well over 430 kids or 250 families in 2021. This could not be done without the tax-deductible contributions, donations to the toy drives, and the selfless time contributed by our volunteers.
You can help us fulfill the wishes of many children and families by making tax-deductible monetary donations towards the Blue Santa program through the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Foundation Donation Button (type Blue Santa in the memo). Checks can also be made out to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Foundation and mailed in or delivered to the Sheriff’s Office at 6 Staudt Street, Boerne, Texas. Toys and other donations can be delivered to the Sheriff’s office at the same address.
